Hi everyone.

I didn't know where to post this question but i need help with my bicycle. I bought it few months ago from Costco and now I noticed that my front disc break is squeaky. I do not know what to do with it. Can you please advise what I can do about it? Maybe I should take it back for adjustment or a repair?

I appreciate all your help.

Thank you.

Hi There. I hope I can help.

If you can hear consistent squealing noise whenever the brake is applied, then the problem is connected with contamination. In such case you should clean the brake system: rotors and brake pads. You need to use a specific disc brake cleaner that contains isopropyl alcohol. When you finish please make sure that the cleaner evaporates and doesn’t leave behind any excess of residue. Now it is time to test your breaks again.

I hope this helps. Best
