Hello everyone. What a great news, we have our first gold medal. Snowboarder Max Parrot won 1st gold medal for Canada team. Mark McMorris won bronze medal.
Kim Boutin won Olympic short track bronze medal on the other hand.
Another surprise got us ski jumping team. Canada has won its first ever Olympic medal in ski jumping. Bronze medal.
Great job guys. Go Team Canada go!!!

Team Canada has 18 medals in total: 3 gold, 4 silver and 11 bronze.
Canada currently stands at 11th position and 3 first places belong correspondingly to: Norway, Germany and United States.

I want to give an update regarding the medal count and close the thread. We, Canada won 26 medals in total: 4 gold, 8 silver and 14 bronze. We are ranked on 4 position by total number of medals. 1st position has Norway with 37 medal, 2nd is ROC with 32 and 3rd one is Germany with 27. Do not worry. Next Winter Olympic is coming in 2026 and the countdown has already started. Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games will be held in Milano and Cortina in Italy. Best
